Under the tiers the Deloraine Fruit Wine Centre is focused on offering an alternative in boutique wines. Our wines are preservative free and produced using only locally grown stone and berry fruit creating a true product of the region.The tradition of locally made fruit wines first came to Tasmania with early European settlement but in this contemporary age our attention has been focused on producing a product that is at home in this modern time and is appreciated by those who enjoy a drier style wine.
All wines are fully fermented and aged using only natural ingredients and crystal clear spring water from the nearby World Heritage Cast Region. Today Tasmania is a proud, clean and green, G.M. free island state producing a wide range of cool climate fruits and berries.
The Great Western Tiers label is available in two distinct ranges: Stone Fruit: cherry, plum, apricot Berry Fruit: blueberry, raspberry, wildberry, blackcurrant, elderberry.
In both ranges of wines, the more contemporary dry palate, as well as the traditional sweeter preferences are offered. Many of these wines are known to be rich in antioxidants.
